🎃👻 Happy Halloween 2024! 🎃👻

As we approach the Halloween season, I find it hard to believe that nearly three years have passed since my husband, our three fur babies, and I relocated to Japan. As we prepare for our return to the United States, it feels as though we have only just begun to immerse ourselves in the local culture.

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend an enjoyable afternoon with a new friend in Onna village, Okinawa. We dined at a well-regarded seafood restaurant that attracts both international tourists and local residents. Following our meal, we visited the Onna Village Museum, where we reflected on the historical lifestyle of the Okinawan people. Adjacent to the museum, there is a library that offers a tranquil setting for study or reflection, with breathtaking views of the emerald green waters by the Renaissance Okinawa Resort.
